Centerville Coleman Museum: The Museum is located at 13548 Centerville Rd. - Chico - (530) 893-9667 Come and explore beautiful Butte Creek Canyon! Drive on Honey Run- and Centerville Road and visit the Covered Bridge, the one-room Schoolhouse, the Centerville Powerhouse, the oldest still-running hydro-powerhouse in California, and the Colman Centerville Memorial Community Museum.

Chico Creek Nature Center - Living Animal Museum Located at 1968 East 8th St. - Chico - (530) 891-4671 

Living Animal Museum: Tuesday - Sunday 11am - 4pm

Tucker Exhibit Hall: Friday - Sunday 11am - 4pm Bidwell Park was made for exploring and having fun! Attend a “Creepy Crawlers” workshop, or become a “nature detective” on an Animal Discovery Hike. Chico Museum: 141 Salem St. - April 10th - December 12 Wed. - Sun. 12pm - 4pm. Located in the former Carnegie Library building in downtown Chico. Exhibits change several times a year and include prestigious traveling exhibits as well as those created by the Museum focusing on local Chico and Butte County history.

Chico Air Museum Located at Chico Municipal Airport - 170 Convair Court - Chico - (530) 345-6468 The Chico Air Museum consists of Historic Aircraft in the outdoor display and a growing indoor Museum.

monca was born in 2009 when a group of residents gathered to ponder the possibility of repurposing the vacant Veterans Memorial Building in Chico. A small group was allowed a restricted tour and the building spoke to their souls whispering “museum.” Visit MONCA to learn more.

Stansbury House: 307 W. 5th St.- Chico - (530) 895-3848 Tours Saturday and Sunday 1pm - 4pm * Adults $2 - Students $1 - Children Free The Stansbury House is a Victorian house that has been a part of Chico since 1883. The Stansbury Preservation Society helps to fund and maintain the 19th century historic house as a museum for all to see.

University Art Museums Janet Turner Print Museum and the Jacki Headley University Art Gallery, are now in the new Arts and Humanities Building.

Gallery Hours: Turner and Jacki Gallery normal hours: Tues - Sat 12-4pm. Thurs 12-8pm. The galleries are closed during college breaks. Click here to view the CSU calendar. All gallery events are free and open to the public (unless otherwise noted). The gallery is a student-centered exhibition space that focuses on original works by regional, national and international artists. The gallery program provides its visitors with a meaningful and artistic experience.
